52nd Annual Meeting

We invite all Aspetuck Land Trust members to our 52nd Annual Meeting on June 21, at 7pm at the Fairfield Museum and History Center located at 370 Beach Road in Fairfield. It’s an important meeting for us to hear from YOU! As a land trust we have plans to take a more proactive role in saving the last remaining open spaces before they are developed and gone forever. The time to act is now. At our annual meeting we are asking Aspetuck Land Trust members what they think about our plans to create a 17,000 acre Green Corridor that will run through Fairfield, Westport, Weston and Easton. The project will have two components: saving the last remaining large undeveloped parcels of land, and involving individual homeowners to do things in their own yards that contribute to the ecological health of our region. Everyone can make a difference, whether it’s donating land or taking care of it in a more sustainable way. Everyone has a role to play. We look forward to hearing feedback and comments from Aspetuck Land Trust members about our plans.

During a short business meeting Members will be asked to approve a slate of directors:

The Class of 2022:
Stephan Grozinger
Bill Kraekel
Kirby Brendsel
Jeff Galendzi
Walter Greene

Following the business activity a presentation from our Executive Director David Brant and presentations from Board Members will take place including a discusion on
"Our Visions and Strategic Plan" and a SNEAK PEAK VIDEO: the Art of Preserving Land!

Our friends and members The Skinny Pines Pizza Truck and the Aspetuck Brew Lab will be providing refreshments following the meeting.
