Bike Tour of Aspetuck Land Trust Properties
Explore places you never knew existed! We are so lucky to live along the coast and have land to enjoy that is protected forever. This 10-mile bike ride will give you views of Aspetuck Land Trust properties in Fairfield and Westport. The ride is on the quiet streets South of Route 1 and there are a couple small hike opportunities. Start at Ye Yacht Yard in Southport, Fairfield's second marina. Observe all traffic laws and ride single file.

From Ye Yacht Yard located at 985 Harbor Road, Southport, CT
STOP 1 is the empty lot adjacent to the north, no access
Head northeast on Harbor Road, go 0.2 mi
Turn left on Westway Road, go 0.3 mi
STOP 2 is on the left, smell the flowers
Head west on Westway Road, go 0.3 mi
STOP 3 is straight ahead, visible from inside the Town of Fairfield's Westway Road Open Space
Head southwest on Westway Road, go 0.5 miles
Turn left on Greens Farms Road, go 500 feet
Turn right on Clapboard Hill Road, go 1.0 mile
Turn right on Morningside Drive, go 0.2 miles
STOP 4 is on the right across from Summer Hill Road, go for a hike
Head north on Morningside Drive, go 0.3 miles
Turn left on Hillandale Road, go 1.0 mile
Turn left on Hillspoint Road, go 1.1 miles
Turn left on Grove Point, go 0.2 miles
Turn left to stay on Grove Point
STOP 5 & 6 are on the right, take a break on the bench
Back the way you came along Grove Point, 0.2 miles
Turn right on Hillspoint Road, go 0.1 mile
Turn right on Greens Farm Road, go 0.6 miles
STOP 7 is on the left, watch for cars!
Head southeast on Greens Farms Road, go 1.0 mile
Turn right on Beachside Avenue, 0.7 miles
BONUS STOP @ Frost Point, can you see NYC?
Head east on Beachside Avenue, go 1.0 mile
STOP 8 is on the left, no access
STOP 9 is on the right, across the water
To return to Ye Yacht Yard
Head northeast on Pequot Avenue, go 0.6 miles
Turn right on Old South Road, go 0.3 miles
Turn right on Harbor Road, go 0.1 mile
