Southport Garden Stroll - Pequot Library

Featuring several of Southport’s finest private gardens, this self-guided walking tour starts in the heart of the Village at Pequot Library and includes Aspetuck Land Trust’s native Wildflower Preserve. Pick up your tour program, browse local vendors on the Great Lawn, then wind your way through a floral adventure in an idyllic seaside New England neighborhood.

Early birds can enjoy coffee at 8:30 a.m. followed by a riveting 9:00 a.m. presentation by Nash Hill – Alfresco Living: How to Choose the Right Plants and Décor for Today’s Outdoor Lifestyle.

The Garden Stroll begins at 10:00 a.m. Local horticultural enthusiasts will be on hand at each site to guide you through the most notable features of these bountiful landscapes. This year’s self-paced Stroll highlights more than 10 of the community’s most picturesque gardens, including beds featured in Town & Country, Fairfield Living, and Fairfield Magazine, one of which has been recognized by the Archives of American Gardens at the Smithsonian Institution.

Take your experience to the next level with a cold glass of Fleurs de Prairie rosé, the signature offering at our Rosé All Day tent. Lunch boxes will be available for purchase from Gruel Britannia.
