Beaver Hike with Diane Honer

Diane Honer, CT licensed Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator and Wildlife Rehabilitator

Join us October 12th for a beaver hike in Pond View Preserve (part of the Paine Open Space). In preparation for our Haskins Lecture featuring Beaverland author Leila Philips on October 26th at the Westport Public Library, we are excited to have Diane Honer from Beaver and Wildlife Solutions lead us on a hike to learn about Aspetuck Land Trust’s very own beaver family and where they live. Beavers are most active at dawn and dusk so this hike begins an hour before sunset. The walk will be moderate and last about an hour to an hour and a half. Meet at the entrance to the Paine Open Space. Turn down the road right before 220 Maple Road, Easton. Turn into the main entrance at sign at roadside. Proceed to end of entrance road to trailhead.
