Join Aspetuck Land Trust and the Community Mindfulness Project for a four-week community mindfulness program at Farm Creek. CMP's programs are rooted in and informed by the practice of forest bathing, also known as shinrin-yoku, which originated in Japan in the 1980s. The term was coined by the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries in 1982 and translates as "taking in the forest atmosphere" or "forest bathing." A member of the Aspetuck Land Trust team will be present to share some history of the preserve and talk about our mission in Norwalk and across Fairfield County. Space is limited.
